Jingbo

JBL grew up in a warm, small town in southern China. His journey took an unexpected turn when he traveled to Beijing with a camera, only to end up completing his BA degree there. Impressively, despite spending five years and much of his time avoiding textbooks in favor of other pursuits, he graduated. Shortly after, JBL began producing a TV show for Beijing TV but left after a year upon realizing that he preferred enjoying ale while watching stage musicals in London’s West End. During his time in London, he shot a short film that won him several student awards and earned him an MA in Film, much to his mother's delight.

JBL’s talents soon led him into the world of film, TV, and documentaries, but he eventually found his niche in shooting commercial ads for major brands such as Apple, Audi, Sony, Visa, Shiseido, and many more. Now, he lives the life of a film-obsessed insomniac.

An expert in narrative video, JBL has a unique style that drives storytelling through strong visuals and an acute eye for life’s everyday details. He is always in pursuit of the perfect balance between stunning visuals and meaningful content.
