Gonzaga Manso

Gonzaga is a director and photographer mainly focused on advertising and artistic work. His work speaks about what he feels, dreams, and what surrounds him. It reflects that argument he had with a taxi driver, the girl he met last summer, getting lost and finding himself, his dog and its little fixations. Telling stories and crafting characters is not just a passion for him but also a necessity. Gonzaga believes in hard work, planning, and attention to detail. He and his team break their backs building sets and shaping light to achieve THAT atmosphere and THAT color, and they have so much fun doing it.

He has had the pleasure of working for clients like Volkswagen, Coca-Cola, Ikea, Mahou, Once, McDonald’s, and FC Barcelona, and with agencies like DDB, McCann-Erickson, El Ruso de Rocky, Contrapunto BBDO, and TBWA. Some of these works have been awarded at important international festivals, while others haven’t.

As a director of photography, he has worked alongside prestigious Spanish directors such as Isabel Coixet, Javier Fesser, Borja Cobeaga, and Julio Medem. Turning his passion into his profession is a great privilege for him. He is thankful to all his teammates and the people who make it happen every day.
