Giacomo Boeri

Giacomo Boeri is a Milan based director working across narrative and commercial projects. He thrives on open briefs, developing ideas from the ground up and building worlds with a distinctive visual language.

He began his career directing fashion films for brands including Prada, Bulgari, Zegna, Giorgio Armani, and Louboutin, before moving into advertising with international clients such as Ferrari, BMW, and Starbucks. His commercial work has received multiple awards at international film festivals.

Alongside advertising, Giacomo has built a distinctive voice in narrative filmmaking. His short films have earned international recognition, including Pater Familias, winner of the Rai Cinema Award at Alice nella Città and Best Comedy at the ECU Film Festival in 2020.

He wrote and directed his first feature documentary, co-produced and distributed by Fandango and Rai Cinema, which was officially selected for the Hot Docs Festival 2026.
