Adam Liu is a director from Beijing, born in 1990, who grew up with a strong interest in images and storytelling while studying directing at the Communication University of China in Nanjing, then refining his skills in a directing program at the Beijing Film Academy in 2012. Over the years he built a body of work with major global brands, including Apple, BMW, Benz, Adidas, Nike, Huawei, Oppo, Vivo, Under Armour, Uber, Coca-Cola, IKEA, along with many others.
He shaped a directing style that blends precise visual control with a strong sense of character, which helped him collaborate with leading actors such as Gong Li, Donnie Yen, Eason Chan, Crystal Liu e Jackson Yee.
His work reflects a consistent interest in human presence, rhythm and detail.
